Reddie Women’s Golf Wins 2024 Battle for the Belt

HOT SPRINGS, Ark.  -  Henderson State closed out the fall portion of its 2024-25 season on a high note by securing a team win at the 2024 Battle for the Belt in Hot Springs on Monday.

The Reddies went 28-over 892 across three rounds to pick up the victory at Hot Springs Country Club.

Arkansas Tech finished second with a score of 44-over 908, while Missouri Southern took third after shooting 48-over 912. The Lions' Katarina Chynoranska was named the tournament's individual winner after she posted a three-round score of two-under 214.

Felisa Sajulga recored HSU's top individual score at one-under 215, which put her in second place in the event's overall standings. Lily Nelson tied for third by shooting four-over 220. Cloe Poizac shot five-over or better in every round to claim a spot in the top 15. Madolyn Kost and Paulina Narvaez were both amongst the tournament's top 40 finishers.

With their final fall tournament now in the rearview mirror, the Reddies look ahead to the spring of 2025. Henderson's season will resume at the Southern Invite on Monday, February 17, in Spring, Texas.
