ARKADELPHIA, Ark.  -  Henderson State's women's golf team  earned the No. 3 spot in the first Scoreboard NCAA Division II Central Region rankings of the 2024-25 season.

The Reddies had an average weighted points average of 19.83 points: a score that earned them a top three regional ranking as well as a No. 32 ranking nationally.

Central Missouri leads the Central Region with an average weighted score of 31.95 points, while Rogers State is in second at 26.51 points. Fellow GAC programs Harding (19.07 points) and Arkansas Tech (16.23 points) round out the regional standings at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.

HSU claimed its first team victory of the fall at the Battle for the Belt in Hot Springs earlier this week. The team has finished in the top four at four of its first five tournaments of the 2024-25 campaign. Reddie senior Felisa Sajulga and junior Lily Nelson have accounted for four of the first six GAC Women's Golfer of the Week Awards given by the conference this season.

After wrapping up the fall portion of its schedule on Monday, Henderson will have a four-month break from tournament play before resuming competition in the spring of 2025. The team's next event is the Southern Invite in Spring, Texas, which will begin on Monday, February 17.
