DURANT, Okla. - Trailing 2-0, Henderson State rallied in singles to capture the 4-3 upset victory over No. 39 Southeastern Oklahoma State in the final GAC match of the regular season.

The Reddies have now won two straight over the Savage Storm as Wednesday's win was SE's first conference loss of the season.

ITA No. 34 Mulan Kamoe and Kristina Kozlova won their fourth consecutive doubles match, taking down Southeastern's Georgia Hosking and Sara Gonzalez, 6-2. The Savage Storm took the other two doubles matches, however, moving ahead, 1-0.

Southeastern extended its lead with a win at No. 5 before HSU fought back with four first-set singles wins. Jenna Kate Bohnert gave the red-and-gray their first point of the afternoon, defeating GAC Player of the Week Milana Voloshyn, 7-5, 6-3, despite trailing 3-2 in the second set.

Kamoe followed Bohnert with her second win of the day and fifth straight singles win of the season, 7-5, 7-5. The reigning GAC Player of the Year finishes the GAC portion of the season going 5-0 against conference competition.

Angela Georgieva gave Henderson its first lead of the overall match with a straight-set, 6-2, 6-4 win at the No. 3 line. The Savage Storm quickly tied it back up after winning the first three-set singles match of the day at No. 6.

Kozlova was one of two Reddies to drop their opening set, but claimed a 6-2 second-set victory to force a winner-take-all third set. Kozlova matched Kamoe with her second win of the day, clinching the GAC finale for HSU, 6-3.

Henderson St. (12-8, 3-2 GAC) will host Fort Hays State Sunday, Apr. 21 at 10 a.m. for Senior Day before the GAC Championships in Bentonville, Ark., Apr. 25-27.
