PITTSBURG, Kans. - Henderson State Volleyball wrapped up the final day at the Pittsburg State Regional Challenge versus Washburn, losing in straight sets.
In the opening set the Reddies saw flashes early starting the set 7-2 before a Washburn timeout. Defensively sophomore
Cassidi Campbell scored four blocks in the set before falling 25-21.
Early in the second set the teams went back and forth due to three early kills from junior
Katilyn Steffes before losing 25-15.
The Reddies started the third set 4-2 and battled to a 11-13 score behind steady play from underclassmen Campbelll adding three blocks and freshman
Braxton Jones with three assists.
The Reddies return to action Tuesday September 24 at 6 p.m. at Southern Arkansas University for their second match of GAC play.
