ARKADELPHIA, Ark.  -  Henderson State dropped its first 2025 Battle of the Ravine meeting with Ouachita Baptist by a score of 80-58 at the Duke Wells Center on Thursday.

The visiting Tigers shot 50 percent as a team en route to victory. OBU outscored the Reddies in all but the fourth quarter, when freshmen and sophomores accounted for 17 of HSU's 20 points.

In what proved to be her fourth double-digit scoring outing of the season, Klowie Pike led the Reddies with 14 points. Freshmen Marlee Raby and Riley Samples also reached double figures in their first Battle with 10 points apiece.

Sam Basson tallied four assists in the loss, which marks the fifth time in her last seven games that she has recorded three or more.

Makenna Winans collected a team-high 11 rebounds.

Henderson kicks off the second half of this season's GAC slate at Southern Arkansas on Saturday, January 25. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center
