Davis Earns D2CCA All-Region Second Team Honors

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Henderson State senior tight end Cayden Davis was named to the D2CCA Super Region 4 Second Team on Thursday. Davis was one of 13 GAC players selected for the honor.

Davis, a senior from Caddo Mills, Texas, earns his second All-Region nod, following his First Team selection in 2024. He was also named First Team All-GAC for the third consecutive season following the 2025 campaign. In 2024, Davis became the first tight end in school history to be named an All-American with a second-team honor.

Davis was Henderson's leading receiver this season. He compiled 44 catches for 565 yards and four touchdown receptions, along with six rushes for 44 yards. The senior's season was highlighted by a career-high 101 receiving yards in the Reddies' win at Oklahoma Baptist and touchdowns in three of Henderson's final five games.

Super Region 4 comprises teams from the GAC, Lone Star, Rocky Mountain Athletic, and Mid-America Intercollegiate conferences.
