ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – With a pair of wins over Lane at home the Reddies improve to 6-2 outscoring the Dragons 15-1 in two games.

The Reddies started off the day with
Jersey Cabana picking up her fourth win of the season. Cabana held the Dragons to just one hit and struck out five batters. Cabana pitched all five innings before the Reddies run-ruled the Dragons. Cabana's shutout is her fourth of the season in just four outings.

The Reddies bats showed up again with their highest scoring outing of the young season. The HSU offense scored 11 runs including three doubles and a home run.
Hilary Akers hit two doubles and
Jay Albiter hit a double, scoring
Macy Hoskins and advanced to third on the throw. Akers added three RBI's in the game while batting 2-3.

Hoskins hit her first home run of the season with a deep shot to right center to open the scoring for the Reddies. HSU scored five of their 11 runs in the third inning. The Reddies then extended their scoring in the fourth inning with a single from
Mackenzie Williams, a double from Akers and a SAC fly from
Emma Mosley.

In the second game the HSU offense started off the game and the pitching never looked back, winning 4-1.
Makenna Keeton earned her first win of the season, pitching five and a third innings, allowing just one hit and striking out eight batters.
Presley Applegate picked up her first save of the season and just the fourth of her career, striking out two in just one and two-third innings.

The Reddies base running helped earn a gritty win in the second game of the day. As a team the Reddies stole three bases, Akers stole two. In the fifth inning Akers stole second and Justin Burch stole home on the double steal. Burch scored two of the four runs for the Reddies.

The Reddies will meet the Dragons again next Friday in Jackson, Tenn., for the two teams' final meeting of the season.
