EL DORADO, Ark. — After leading by just three strokes at end of play on Monday, Henderson State pulled away in Tuesday's second round to win the Arkansas Collegiate by 15 strokes.
Over the course of the event, the Reddies shot 38-over 614 to pick up their second tournament win of the season. HSU has now finished fourth or better at five separate tournaments during the 2024-25 campaign.
Playing on a course that has garnered a national reputation for its challenging layout, Felisa Sajulga tied for first place individually with a score of six-over 150. Knotted up with Harding's Sarah Kmiecik after 36 holes, HSU's senior from College Station, Texas, took the championship by recording a birdie on the first hole of a playoff.
Lily Nelson earned a spot on the podium with a third-place performance of eight-over 152. Paulina Narvaez cracked the top five by going 10-over 154 - a score that tied her for fourth place.
Cloe Poizac clinched a share of eighth place at 14-over 158. The freshman posted an eagle on the second hole of the second round.
Following Tuesday's tournament victory, the Reddies will have a week off before traveling to Fort Smith for the Hardscrabble Invitational. The two-day event, which will be hosted by Arkansas-Fort Smith, will begin on Monday, Mar. 24.
