ADA, Okla. — Henderson State University dropped both games of a Great American Conference doubleheader to East Central University on Friday, falling 10-6 in the opener and 5-4 in the nightcap.

In Game 1, East Central scored six runs in the first inning and never trailed. The Tigers added two runs in the third to build an 8-1 lead.

The Reddies scored twice in the ninth on an RBI single from Connor Bobbitt and a passed ball, but the rally ended with the tying run on deck. Campbell finished with two hits and an RBI, and McClure had two hits. Dawson Goines took the loss after allowing eight runs in three innings.

In the second game, Henderson State took a 1-0 lead in the first on Campbell's fielder's choice. East Central responded with four runs in the bottom half and added an unearned run in the fifth.
