MOBILE, AL - The Reddies couldn't dig out of an early hole, and ultimately lost the last game of the series against Spring Hill College, 5-2.
The Reddies cut into an early deficit in the third inning when
Macy Hoskins lined a double to center, bringing home
Hilary Akers after a leadoff single. The run marked Henderson State's first of the game. In the fifth, the Reddies added another run as
Tatum Bittick reached on a single, stole second, took third, and scored on a sacrifice bunt by
Penelope Foote.
Hoskins led the offense with a double and an RBI, while Akers and Bittick each collected hits and scored. Henderson State worked three walks and forced Spring Hill into extended defensive sequences, creating scoring chances through speed and situational hitting.
Presley Applegate earned the start again today, pitching three innings, giving up five hits and two runs, while recording three strikeouts and one walk.

Jersey Cabana came in relief, with Kelley giving up 3 runs on three hits with two strikeouts and three walks. Cabana pitched a scoreless inning, giving up no hits and recording a strikeout.
