ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Wednesday proved to be a big day for the Reddie Football program as Henderson State added 42 new players to its ranks on National Signing Day 2026.

The Reddies signed 12 homegrown players from the state of Arkansas, including two from Class 7A state champion Bryant. The state of Texas had the most representation in the signing class with 23 members. The remaining signees came from Tennessee (5), Oklahoma (1), and Louisiana (1).

"I'm excited about what this group will bring to Henderson State," head coach Greg Holsworth said. "Our assistant coaches did an outstanding job identifying not just talent, but the right fits for our program. We signed some of the top players in Arkansas, continued our strong presence in Texas, and added quality student-athletes from Tennessee and Louisiana — areas that consistently produce high-level players who love football.
