ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Reddie Tennis finished the opening week of the 2026 season against the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, sweeping the Lions 7-0.
Doubles
The Reddies got the match started with a sweep through doubles as
Jordan Parker and
Emilia Nowak claimed the first doubles win, 6-2.
Jenna Kate Bohnert and
Adiya Abdugappar clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at No. 2.
Singles
In the singles matches, Nowak continues to dominate in the No. 2 spot, besting her opponent 6-0, 6-1. The Henderson No. 1 and No. 4 spots each claimed victory, as
Kristina Kozlova bested her opponent 6-2, 6-0 and
Adiya Abdugappar secured her win 6-2, 6-2. In the No. 3 position,
Angela Dorado Marin secured her win after a hard fought first match 7-5, then secured the win 6-3 in the second. In the No. 5 spot,
Jordan Parker fought back hard after a 6-3 loss in the first match to clinch the win for Henderson State 6-1, 12-10 (1-0).

Henderson State (1-0) will return to the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center on Saturday February 21st for a match against Angelo State beginning at 11 a.m.
