ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State split a Friday doubleheader with Harding at Clyde Berry Field, taking the opener in walk-off fashion before dropping the nightcap 6-0.

Game 1: Henderson State 4, Harding 3

The Reddies ended the opener with a walk-off single from Nate Moore to claim a 4–3 win over Harding in Friday's opener. Moore lined a two-out single to center in the bottom of the ninth that scored Cooper McClure from second and gave Henderson State the win.

Harding opened the scoring in the first inning. Logan Lacey walked and later scored on a fielder's choice that included a throwing error by the Reddies.

The Bisons extended the lead to 2–0 in the fifth when Phoenix West tripled to right field to drive in Cooper Newsom.

Henderson State answered with a three-run fifth inning. McClure reached after a hit-by-pitch and Mason Krznarich followed with a single. Grant Fitch brought home the first run with a bunt single. Later in the inning, an error allowed two runs to score and gave the Reddies a 3–2 lead.

Harding tied the game in the eighth when Jack Opoien was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, forcing in West.

Moore finished the game in the ninth. McClure singled and moved to second on a groundout before Moore delivered the winning hit. The senior
