SEARCY, Ark. - The Reddies (9-11, 3-6) finished their weekend series against Harding today, falling in the third game 6-0.
The HSU pitching staff issued six runs on eight hits.
Jersey Cabana (3-6) earned the start, pitching four innings, while
Presley Applegate came in relief for two innings, recording the lone strikeout.
Henderson's offense recorded five hits, with no runs, and was led by Abbey Brinkley, who went 2-3 with a double.
Both team's pitchers did everything they could through the early going to keep the opposition at bay. Harding was able to open the scoring with four runs in the third, before scoring two more in the fifth to set the final score 6-0.
Henderson's offense could just not get players on base, recording five strikeouts while only reaching extra bases twice. The Reddies left 11 on base during the game, unable to capitalize on runners.
