ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Reddie Tennis (9-7, 3-0) continued the spring conference play of the season with a home match against Southern Arkansas. Henderson State cleanly swept the Muleriders 7-0 to stay perfect against GAC opponents.
Doubles
The Reddies opened the day with a 2-1 win over the Muleriders in doubles play, with
Adiya Abdugappar and
Jenna Kate Bohnert winning in the No. 2 spot 6-3.
Singles
In the singles matches, it was a clean sweep for the Reddies, as every position secured the win in their matches.
Angela Dorado Marin secured the first win for the Reddies, leading 3-0 before her opponent retired.
Emilia Nowak bested Roksana Kokocha in the No. 2 spot 6-0, 6-1 to give the Reddies a 3-0 lead in the match.
Lily Winter added the clinching win in the No. 6 position, defeating Victoria Perez 6-2, 6-1. The Reddies played it out, securing three more wins for Henderson State, with Abdugappar winning 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 3 spot against Taylor Conway.
Jordan Parker won in the No. 5 position 6-2, 2-6, 10-8 in a hard-fought match against Isabella Lazzerini. Finally,
Kristina Kozlova completed the sweep defeating #18-regionally ranked Jolina Mass 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 to give Henderson State the 7-0 win.

Henderson State will look to stay perfect as they will travel to Durant, Oklahoma to face Southeastern Oklahoma State, the remaining undefeated team in the Great American Conference. The match is scheduled for Tuesday April 14th, with the start time set at 2:00 P.M.
