Women's Golf Qualifies for 13th Consective Central Region Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Henderson State women's golf team will make its 13th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Central Region Tournament, as announced Monday.

Henderson State will be the 8th seed in the 16-team field after a runner-up finish in the GAC Championship earlier this month. GAC Champion Arkansas Tech enters as the top overall seed, and is joined by fellow GAC teams from Southwestern Oklahoma State and Harding.


The top five finishing teams and top two individuals on non-advancing teams following 54 holes of play will qualify for the 2026 Division II Women's Golf National Championships in West Palm Beach, Florida May 12-16.


Round one of the Central Region Championships hosted by Missouri Western State University will get underway from St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri on Monday, May 4. Second-round action will take place Tuesday, May 5, before a Central Region Champion will be crowned with the final 18 holes on Wednesday, May 6.
