2013: Played in 10 games and was part of an offensive line that helped the Reddies lead the nation in total offense and scoring.

PREP: Lettered in track and field in addition to football at Henderson High (Henderson, Texas)…In track and field, twice was a regional qualifier in the shot put…In football was named All-East Texas and second-team all-state as a senior…That same year, helped his team to an 11-3 record that resulted in a state semi-finalist finish…The year prior, he was a part of a 13-2 squad that won the state championship.
