Andrew Loudenback joined the Henderson State football coaching staff in 2022 as the wide receivers coach and begins his second stint on staff in 2023 as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
As offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Loudenback had Henderson St. as the top passing offense in the GAC in 2023 with 248.6 aerial yards per game. As an entire unit, the Reddies owned the league's fourth best scoring offense (34.9 ppg) and total offense (432.4 ypg).
Quarterback Andrew Edwards delivered one of the best sophomore seasons in program history under Loudenback's tutelage during the 2023 campaign. Edwards closed the year with the seventh most passing yards in a single season at HSU (2,979), sixth most offensive yards (3,408) and the fifth most passing touchdowns (28). The 2023 All-GAC Second Team selection also added 10 rushing scores on the year.
For the 2022 season, Loudenback continued Henderson's recent success at wide receiver, coaching HSU's third consecutive First Team All-Region recipient at the position. Malone was named a 2022 unanimous First Team All-Conference selection on top of the All-Region nod. The Reddies' passing attack was ranked third in the Great American Conference at 235.4 yards per game.
Loudenback comes from Dakota State University, where he served as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks/Running Backs Coach during the 2021-22 season. Loudenback also worked as the recruiting coordinator with DSU, recruiting western South Dakota, Colorado, North Dakota and Dallas, Texas.
Prior to his time at Dakota St., Loudenback worked at Saint Cloud State University, Colorado School of Mines and Maryville State University from 2018-2021. While at CSofM in 2019 as the Wide Receivers and Tight Ends Coach, the Orediggers were ranked No. 8 nationally in total offense and scoring offense, capturing a 12-1 season as they were crowned RMAC Conference Champions and made a trip to the second round of the playoffs.
While at Maryville St. as the Offensive Coordinator and the Quarterbacks Coach during the 2020-21 season, the Comets were ranked fifth nationally in NAIA in passing yards per game - No. 1 in the North Star Conference. MSU was also ranked 17th nationally in the NAIA in yards per game (384).
Loudenback earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Information and Technology Management in May of 2017 from Montana Tech of the University of Montana before getting his Masters of Science in Leadership in Physical Education and Sport from North Dakota State University in 2022.
