Henderson State University Athletics

CJ Polkinghorn enters his first season at Henderson State as the graduate assistant coach for the defensive line in 2025.

Polkinghorn served as an offensive student assistant at Division I Northern Iowa from 2022 to 2024. He later worked in the program as an offensive analyst and offensive line assistant. While in college, CJ received the Dennis Reimer Football Volunteer Scholarship and was nominated for the UNI Student Employee of the Year Award.

In 2025, Polkinghorn graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in physical education teaching and a minor in coaching.
