Evan Lassiter

Evan Lassiter enters his second season as the Reddies' offensive coordinator in 2025.

Under Lassiter's guidance in 2024, Henderson's offense finished third in the GAC with 392.3 total yards per game. He mentored Second Team All-GAC quarterback Andrew Edwards, who led the league in completions (207), passing yards (2,539), passing touchdowns (27), and quarterback efficiency rating (156.9).

Lassiter's previous stop was as the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in 2022 and 2023. In his time with the Norsemen, Lassiter coached a First Team NJCAA All-American and helped 12 different players sign with four-year institutions.

In addition to his stint at NEO, Lassiter has made coaching stops at Midland Lee High School in Midland, Texas, Coffeyville Community College, Dodge City Community College, and at Henderson State as running backs coach in 2019. During his lone season on the Reddies' staff, he coached Logan Moragne, who earned All-GAC honors and helped Henderson finish in the Top-4 in the GAC in both scoring and total offense.

Before making the jump to coaching, Lassiter was a stand out at quarterback for Henderson State from 2015 to 2017. A two-time GAC Offensive Player of the Week honoree, Lassiter is fifth all-time in program history with 3,619 career passing yards and holds the school record for completions in a game with 47 against Ouachita Baptist in 2017.

Lassiter graduated from Henderson State in December of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
