Coach Jake Warehime enters his second year as the Reddies' offensive line coach and running game coordinator in 2025.

In Warehime's first year with the program, Henderson State's offensive line helped the team finish top four in the Great American Conference in scoring (32.9 points per game) and total offense (392.3 yards per game). The Reddies' run game was top five in yards per game (158.7) and boasted a Second Team All-GAC running back in the form of Jeremiah Davis. Davis rushed for a career-best 158 yards and three touchdowns versus Arkansas Tech, earning the GAC's Offensive Player of the Week Award and becoming the first HSU player since 2018 to rush for at least 150 yards in a single game.

Warehime was previously an offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He coached three players to all-conference selections, including First Team Heart North All-Conference offensive lineman CJ Cunningham. Prior to his time with the Statesmen, Warehime was an offensive line coach and NFL liaison for the Great American Conference’s Southwestern Oklahoma State. The Choctaw, Oklahoma, native also spent a season at Trinity Valley Community College where, as an offensive line coach and strength and conditioning coordinator, he mentored three first team and five total all-conference team members.

Prior to his coaching days, Warehime was a center for Emporia State University of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). He started 38 games across his career with the Hornets, including the program’s 2015 and 2016 NCAA Division II Playoff runs. He was named an All-MIAA Honrable Mention center in 2017.

Warehime holds a Bachelor of Science in Crime and Delinquency Studies from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
