Was voted Most Improved Player as a junior after recording 143 tackles . . . Also was an All-District baseball player for the Chiefs.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 31, 1991 . . . The son of Donny and Shona Hopfinger . . . Has one sister, Heather . . . Enjoys playing baseball and soccer . . . Majoring in english education.
