PREP: Three-year letterman at Smithville High School. . . Named to the All-District team at both the wide receiver and safety positions. . . Awarded team defensive MVP. . . Totaled  88 tackles,  seven interceptions, three fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns. . . Also totaled 981 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball.
