Biography

2022: Played in 10 games and made 20 total tackles in the secondary for the Reddies … Had a season-high five tackles in the win over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

2021: Played in 10 games for HSU in what was his first year of game action . . . Recorded three tackles in three separate games this season, including three solo tackles at Arkansas-Monticello (Sept. 18) and Harding (Oct. 16) . . . Had his first career interception against Northwestern Oklahoma State (Sept. 11).

2019: Did not see game action.

2018: Redshirted.

PREP: First-team all-conference selection at Crossett High School where he totaled 110 tackles with 14 tackles for loss with seven sacks his senior season . . . Also lettered four years in track and was an all-conference selection . . . A member of student council, Beta Club, President Cabinet, and FCCLA.

PERSONAL: Born June 29, 1999 . . . The son of Christopher and Valerie Smith . . . Has one brother, Randall, and three sisters, Alexia, Keshia and Keshay . . . Majoring in sports medicine.
