Biography

COLLEGE: Transferred form Siskiyous Community College where he helped lead his team to a 10-1 record overall and a Mid-Empire Conference Championship . . . A First-Team All-Mid-Empire Conference selection in 2012, Cortes was second on the team in tackles with 74 stops including 54 solo tackles, 6 sacks, and 12.5 tackles for lost yardage.

PREP: Played at Douglas High School he was a First-Team All-Conference pick after having 119 tackles . . . The Trojans finished with an 11-3 record his senior season and advanced to the Class 4A Oregon State Championship.
