Biography

2019: Played in all 12 games as Henderson’s starting kicker and kickoff specialist … Finished the year 47-for-51 on PAT’s and 7-of-11 on field goal attempts with a long of 40 yards against Arkansas Tech (Sept. 21) … Ended the year with 68 points scored and enters his junior season with 132 points in his career … Had 18 touchbacks on 71 kickoffs.

2018: Played and started in every game of his true freshman season as the Reddies’ place-kicker and kick-off specialist . . . An Honorable Mention All-GAC selection . . . Henderson’s leading scorer on the year, and seventh in the GAC in scoring, with 64 total points . . . Was 34-for-35 on extra points and 10-for-16 on field goal attempts . . . Named GAC Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance against Southeastern Oklahoma State (Oct. 20) . . . Tied the school record with a career-long 49-yard field goal against Southeastern and later won the game against the Savage Storm by drilling a 40-yard field goal with five seconds remaining on Homecoming . . . Had 13 touchbacks on 56 kick-offs.

PREP: Prepped at Dardanelle High School where he earned all-conference and all-state honors . . . Was 7-for-9 on field goals . . . Also lettered four years in soccer, earning all-state and all-conference honors all four years.

PERSONAL: Born September 17, 1999 . . . Son of Manuel Martinez and Marcela Martinez . . . Brother to Citlali, Frida and Manuel . . . Majoring in Health and Physical Education.
