Finished his sophomore campaign with 3408 total yards - sixth most in program history - and 39 total touchdowns after leading HSU to its first NCAA Division II Playoff berth since 2015 ... 2022: The GAC Freshman of the Year as voted on by the league’s coaches … Burst onto the scene in week two after an injury to the starting quarterback and never looked back … Finished the year 146-for-229 through the air for 2137 yards, 21 touchdowns and four interceptions in just nine games as the starter … Was one of the most efficient and accurate passers in the league as a freshman, completing 63% of his passes and ending the year with a QB rating of 168.12 … Threw for over 300 yards in three games and shined in the Battle of the Ravine, going 21-for-36 for 232 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions … Also ran for 219 yards and three touchdowns on the year ... Had the most passing touchdowns (21) and fewest interceptions (4) of any DII freshman quarterback in the country.

PREP: All-Conference quarterback with tremendous accuracy … Threw for 2,238 yards with a 70% completion percentage (135-192) while racking up 28 touchdowns and two interceptions for a quarterback rating of 144.49 as a senior … Accounted for five touchdowns in Bentonville's conference championship victory … Held a 3.9 GPA his senior year while at Bentonville High School … Received offers from Southern Arkansas and Arkansas Baptist, among others.
