2023: AFCA Second Team All-American, becoming first HSU defensive player to be named All-America by any publication since 2019 ... First Team All-GAC ... Finalist for 2023 Cliff Harris Award ... Fourth most single-season in sacks in program history with 7.5 ... Second on the team with 8.0 tackles for loss ... Delivered his one forced fumble on the year off a strip sack against then-No. 10 Ouachita Baptist in the final game of the season as part of the 31-27 upset ... Recorded three sacks against Arkansas-Monticello (Oct. 21), becoming the first HSU player to record three sacks in a single game since 2016.

2022: A Second Team All-GAC selection as a redshirt freshman … Put together a tremendous first year of college football, recording 39 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles and 10 quarterback hurries … Very disruptive, had at least a half-tackle for loss in seven different games … Had two tackles for loss and a sack in each of the first three games of his college career.

PREP: A 2A-8 All-State honoree for two-time state champion Fordyce High School … Served as the B-Back in the Red Bugs' triple option offense and helped lead Fordyce to back-to-back 2A state titles in 2019 and 2020 … Ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns in the 2020 state title game against Des Arc … Ran for 862 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior … Played both ways and had 64 tackles and 22 tackles for loss in 14 games … Also received offers from Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Tech, Ouachita Baptist, Arkansas-Monticello and Northeastern State.
