Biography

2021: Appeared in five games for Henderson State . . . Tallied 13 total tackles, his first career interception and two pass deflections on the season . . . Had his best game of the season in the opener as he registered five tackles and one INT. 

2019: Saw action in five games as a redshirt freshman defensive back before his season was cut short by injury … Made eight tackles, three solo stops and a tackle for loss on the year.

2018: Redshirted.

PREP: A three-time All-Conference and All-Region selection at Fordyce High School . . . Totaled 48 solo tackles with four tackles for loss and four interceptions his senior season . . . Collected 67 solo tackles with six for lost yardage and three interceptions his junior year . . . Also played basketball and baseball earning all-conference and all-state honors.

PERSONAL: Born December 23, 1999 . . . The son of Bryan and Dorothy Sledge . . . Has one brother, De’Arius . . . Enjoys attending Bible Study Classes . . . Majoring in Kinesiology.
