Aungelique Sledge was named Great American Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her efforts against Southern Nazarene last Saturday. Sledge was instrumental in the victory, scoring a career-high 36 points while having 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The junior from West Helena, Ark. was perfect in 3-point field goals going 7-for-7 tying a Henderson record.
Sledge scored 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the first half. She ended the game converting on 13-of-19 from the field for 68 percent shooting.
