Henderson State will attempt to win its third straight game as the Reddies travel to Russellville, Ark. to take on Arkansas Tech in a non-conference game on Tuesday with first-pitch set for 6 p.m.

The Reddies, 2-7 overall and 2-1 in the Great American Conference, are coming off a Saturday double-header sweep of Southeastern Oklahoma.

The Reddies are hitting .244 early in the season and are averaging 3.8 runs per game.

After a big Saturday, Joseph Gary leads the team hitting .375 (6-for-16) with two doubles and six RBI.

Arkansas Tech, 7-2 and 3-0 in the GAC, swept a three-game series from Southern Nazarene this past weekend.

ATU enters with a team batting average of .281 and are led by Mike Kattula who is sporting a .455 average (15-for-33),
having hit four doubles, a home run and totaled nine runs batted in.

The Wonder Boys have a team 3.42 ERA with opponents hitting just .220.
