Henderson State's women's and men's basketball teams return to the court Thursday when the Lady Reddies and Reddies take on Southern Nazarene in Bethany Okla.
The Lady Reddies will take on SNU at 5:30 p.m., with the Reddies and Crimson Storm tipping off at 7:30 p.m.
The Lady Reddies, 12-7 overall and 7-6 in the Great American Conference, will attempt to end a two-game losing skid.
Henderson State beat Southern Nazarene earlier this year 86-71at the Duke Wells Center.
Aungelique Sledge had a career-high 36 points the first time out against SNU, while
Krystal Beachum scored 15 points and pulled down 5 rebounds.
Sledge leads the team in scoring averaging 21.0 points per game, while Beachum averages 13.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Southern Nazarene, 8-10 overall and 5-7 in league play, is led by Kristin Milster who averages 17.2 points per game. Milster scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds in the first game against the Lady Reddies.
Aminata Fall follows averaging 16.9 points and 13.9 rebounds per game. Fall led Southern Nazarene with 21 points and 11 rebounds earlier the year against HSU.
The Reddies will try to even their record as Henderson enters the game with a 10-11 record overall and a 6-7 mark in league play.
Deoirvay Johnson leads the Reddies in scoring averaging 13.9 points per contest, while
Melvin Haynes averages 12.0 points per game.
Johnson scored 22 points to lead Henderson State to an 87-78 win over Southern Nazarene on January 4.
Ronald Lawson scored 17 points and 7 rebounds for the Reddies in the first meeting.
Southern Nazarene brings an 8-10 overall record and a 6-6 GAC mark into Thursday's game.
CJ Smith is SNU's top scorer averaging 20.9 points, while Quan Conner adds 17.7 points per game.
In the first game against the Reddies, Conner led the Crimson Storm with 26 points.
