With two-outs, the Reddies loaded the bases again then Hunter Mayall walked to force home a run. Claude Johnson would then single to score two more runs.

In the nightcap, Henderson State broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth-inning scoring three runs to win 4-1.

Henderson struck for a run in the first-inning as Mayall and Johnson both reached on singles with Mayall scoring on a ground out by Taylor.

Meanwhile, Reddie pitcher Cody Jones was working through the Bison line up and did not give up a hit until the sixth-inning.

With two outs in the sixth, the Bisons tied the score as Kyler Offenbacker scored on a single by Noah Chandler. Offenbacker reached on an error to lead off the inning and advanced to second on a Harrison Hunter single.

Chandler then laced a single to right field. Brackhahn attempted to throw Offenbacker out at the plate, but the throw was high and went to the back stop.

Hunter tried to score on the Reddie miscue, but a heads up play by Jones was able to tag Hunter out at the plate as Reynolds chased down the baseball and provided the relay.

In the Reddie sixth, Matt Evans started things with a single up the middle. Mayall grounded into a fielder's choice, but the ball was mishandled by the Bison shortstop and both runners were safe and able to advance to second and third.

Johnson, who singled earlier in the game, received a free pass which loaded the bases.

With one-out, Lessenberry plated the go-ahead run with a ground out to third.

Fields would then provide the insurance runs with his big hit to left field.
