The Henderson State swimming teams completed a season sweep of Ouachita Baptist as the Red Wave women cruised to a 120-81 victory, while the men swam past the Tiger Sharks posting a 133-71 win on Friday at OBU.

The women claimed victory in seven events with
Lindsey Lucas leading the way with three individual wins.
Lucas claimed the top spot in three freestyle events beginning the meet with a victory in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.32. The freshman from Thibodaux, La. returned later to win the 100 freestyle (53.49) and the 500 freestyle (5:29.97) to total 27 points for the Red Wave.

Also claiming individual wins were
Elam Fulton in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.73 and
Amy Brandenburg posting a time of 2:18.18 in the 200 backstroke.

Fulton also placed second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:34.72, while teammate
Ohemaa Barnes finished second in the 50 freestyle (25.94) and the 100 freestyle (57.42).

Other top finishers include
Lindsey Wilson placing second in the 1000 freestyle (12:02.91) and
Jordan Adkins second in the 200 freestyle (2:04.40).
Mikayla Wood also had a second-place finish in the 200 individual medley (2:20.68), while
Randi Latiolais was second in the 200 butterfly (2:22.18).

Henderson won both relay events with the foursome of
Maddie Samples, Wood, Latiolais and Fulton winning the 400 medley relay touching the wall in 4:08.95.

The 400 freestyle relay team of
Jordan Adkins, Brandenburg, Barnes and Samples scored 11 team points by winning the event in a time of 3:50.64.

The Red Wave men totaled eight event wins with
Ben East beginning things with a first-place finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:06.64.

Drew Lauth won the 500 freestyle touching the wall in 4:57.45, while placing second in the 1000 freestyle having a time of 10:19.96.

Leo Chaves turned in a time of 1:58.40 in the 200 butterfly to claim victory, and later was second in the 200 individual medley having a time of 1:59.64.Â

In the 200 freestyle,
Caleb Murders was first with a time of 1:44.50, and then was second in the 100 freestyle clocking in at 48.15.Â

Other winners include
Hunter Arnold on the 100 freestyle (46.73) and
Tom Nguyen in the 50 freestyle (21.44).

The Red Wave men also won both relay events beginning with the 400 medley relay as
Bogdan Pochynok, Nguyen, Chaves and Arnold combined for a winning time of 3:28.52. Â Â Â Â Â Â

In the 400 freestyle relay, the quartet of Arnold, Pochynok, Murders and
Corbin Greening outswam the competition with a time of 3:12.30.
