ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State searches for its fourth-straight win on Saturday when the Reddies welcome Southeastern Oklahoma State to Carpenter-Haygood Stadium and Ruggles Field for Homecoming 2018.

TOP STORYLINES: SETTING THE SCENE
- The Reddies (4-3) have dominated their last three opponents in route to three wins. Henderson out-scored Southern Nazarene, Oklahoma Baptist and East Central 111-41 over the past three weeks.

- Southeastern Oklahoma is riding high entering Saturday's game after shutting out No. 15 Southern Arkansas 21-0 last weekend in Durant, Oklahoma. The Savage Storm have lost their last three meetings with HSU by a combined 10 points.

- Saturday is the 29th meeting all-time between the two schools. Henderson holds a 22-6 advantage all-time and has not lost to the Savage Storm since 2009.

- Head coach Scott Maxfield is now just two wins away from securing his 100th win at Henderson State. He trails Sporty Carpenter by 21 games in his quest to become the Reddies' all-time winningest coach. Should Henderson win against Southeastern, Maxfield would have a chance to notch win No. 100 at the Murphy USA Classic against SAU next Saturday.

REDDIES REPORT
- For the second-straight week, the two-headed monster backfield of Logan Moragne and Querale Hall shined for the Reddies. Moragne carried 15 times for 132 yards and a touchdown, while Hall had 14 carries for 80 yards and a score, as well as five receptions for 46 yards and two touchdowns. The two backs combined for 258 yards of total offense and four touchdowns.

- Moragne is the GAC leader in rushing yards per game (92.5) and is fourth in total rushing yards (555), while Hall has accounted for 388 yards of total offense and six touchdowns in the last three weeks alone.

- Ben Johnson now leads the GAC in receptions (46) and receptions per game (6.6). Johnson has 497 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season.

- Linebacker Cameron Sonnier ranks ninth in the GAC in total tackles (57), while nickelback Mercardo Anderson is 10th in the league in tackles for loss this season (7.5). Twenty (20) different players have made at least a half-tackle for loss this year for Henderson.

- The Reddies' offense is clicking on all cylinders as of late. Henderson leads the league in total offense with an average of 423.9 yards per game and is second in the GAC in scoring offense (31.6 points per game).

- Henderson's passing offense, which ranks second in the conference (265.6 yards per game), has been consistent all season, but the Reddies have found their rushing attack in the last couple of weeks. Once saddled near the bottom of the GAC, HSU's rushing offense now ranks fifth in the league with an average of 158.3 yards per game. The Reddies have rushed for 1108 yards this year with 602 of those yards coming in the last two games alone.

- The defense for Henderson has stepped up during the three-game win streak. HSU has allowed just 41 total points combined to its opponents in the last three weeks -- an average of just 13.7 points per game. The Reddies are seventh in the GAC in scoring defense and allow 25.2 points per game to opponents this season.

SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA
- Southeastern Oklahoma enters Saturday's game 5-2 on the year. The Savage Storm are tied for third in the GAC standings with Harding and are coming off of a big 21-0 win over No. 15 Southern Arkansas. They are led by head coach Bo Atterberry, who has won 32 games in Durant, Oklahoma, in five seasons.

- The Savage Storm have several big-time playmakers and are led by running back Kenneth Burks, who is second in the GAC with 605 rushing yards this season, and receiver Jaylen Sims, who leads the league with six receiving touchdowns and is second in the conference with 600 receiving yards.

- On defense, SOSU turns to freshman linebacker Conner Swope, who is fourth in the GAC in tackles with 67 and averages 9.4 tackles per game. Defensive back Zac Scott also has 42 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, an interception and two fumble recoveries this season for the Savage Storm.

- Henderson scored 21 unanswered points to seize the lead in the fourth quarter in Durant, Oklahoma, then ran out the last 7:35 of the game clock to preserve the 21-20 win. The Reddies converted a 3rd-and-19 and a 4th-and-4 on the final drive which ran out the clock on the Savage Storm.

- Evan Lassiter completed 28-of-46 passes for 316 yards and a touchdown in the win for the Reddies. Jaylen Sims had six receptions for 81 yards to lead Southeastern Oklahoma. HSU out-gained SOSU 397-277 in the win.
