Reddies to Begin GAC Series Against East Central

Henderson State will travel to Ada, Oklahoma this weekend to take on East Central in a three-game Great American Conference series beginning Friday at 2 p.m.

The Reddies, 16-10 overall and 11-5, are currently second in the GAC standings, one game behind Arkansas-Monticello.

Henderson has swept three of its five GAC series' this season including two on the road.

Jordan Harris continues to lead the Reddie offense with a .347 average. Harris has eight doubles, three home runs and 15 runs batted in on the year.

Brentten Schwaab is hitting .292 with five doubles and 14 RBI, while Daniel Colasanto has worked his way into the starting lineup and is hitting .526 in conference games having gone 10-for-19 at the plate.

The Reddies will continue to use the weekend rotation of Bryant Haralson, Zach Eschberger and Daniel Sprinkle.

Haralson has a 3-2 record with a 2.94 earned run average. In 52 innings on the mound, Haralson has struck out 48 batters.

Eschberger brings a 4-1 record with a 3.46 ERA into the series, while Sprinkle is 2-2 with a 3.41 ERA

East Central has a 2-22 overall record and is1-14 in league play after picking up a win last weekend over Ouachita Baptist.

The Tigers have a team .252 team batting average led by Bryce Dimitroff who is hitting .330 with seven doubles and 10 runs batted in.

Trevor Crone is the top power-hitter of the club having a .564 slugging percentage which includes five doubles and four home runs.

The Tiger pitching staff has an 11.86 earned run average with opponents hitting a hefty .377.

Logan Lannon and Alex Lemmon make up two parts of the rotation with the third starter to be decided later.

Lannon is winless on the year with six losses while having a 6.64 ERA with Lemmon being 0-5 while leading the team in strikeouts with 42.
