ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Following the cancelation of its Monday night contest against Ouachita Baptist, Henderson State returns to play on Thursday when the Reddies travel to Searcy, Arkansas to face Harding at 7:30 p.m. in the Rhodes-Reaves Fieldhouse.

REDDIES REPORT
- After dropping its season opener, Henderson got back on track in a big way on Saturday and limited Arkansas Tech to just 24.2% shooting from the floor in a 70-44 win. The Reddies held the Wonder Boys to just 20% shooting in the second half and led by as many as 30 in the final minutes. ATU's 44 points were the lowest amount scored by an HSU opponent in over a year.

- Quawn Marshall led HSU with 15 points against ATU, while Malik Riddle and Josh Mason added 14 and 10, respectively, off the bench. After shooting just 40.2% in a loss to SAU on Thursday, the Reddies hit on 47.4% of their looks against Tech and 41.2% of their shots from beyond the arc.

- Jeremiah Toney currently leads Henderson in scoring with an average of 13 points per game and is also pulling down 10 rebounds per contest through two games. Both Marshall and Riddle have hit four 3-pointers thus far and Marshall, after shooting just 29.6% from deep last season, is 4-of-7 from beyond the arc this year (57.1%).

- Through two games, the Reddies' defense has been ferocious. HSU is holding its opponents to 35.8% shooting from the field and has forced 17 turnovers per game. Henderson has also shown to be a very deep team early on. The Reddies boast nine players who are playing 10-plus minutes per game and 11 who are playing eight or more minutes.

- HSU has had recent success against Harding and has won five of the last six meetings between the two teams, including five straight at one point. The programs split last season and prior to the Reddies' five-game winning streak, the Bisons had won seven consecutive contests from 2014 to 2017. The Reddies are 81-46 all-time against HU.

SCOUTING HARDING
- Harding enters Thursday night's contest 1-0 on the year after having two games against Arkansas Tech and Arkansas-Monticello canceled on Jan. 9 and Jan. 11. The Bisons are led by head coach Jeff Morgan, who is the longest tenured coach in the GAC (28 years) and ranks in the Top-20 among DII head coaches in wins with 448 to his credit.

- The Bisons are led in scoring through one game by Romio Harvey, who poured in 24 points in HU's 84-77 win over Ouachita last Thursday. Harvey is the top returning scorer in the GAC after averaging 20.9 points per game in 2019-20. He was one of just four players in the league to average 20-plus points per contest last season.

- One of the Reddies' lone losses last season came early on the road at Harding, where they fell 89-77 despite having five players in double figures. The loss was the only double-digit GAC defeat of HSU's 2020 championship season and the only GAC game of the year in which Henderson did not lead at any point.
