DAY 3 RESULTS

CLEVELAND, Mississippi – With only one day remaining for the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships, the Henderson State Red Wave men have established themselves firmly in second place with 622 points – a whole 115 points ahead of third-place Ouachita – while the women sit 31 points ahead of OBU for third place.
 
Patryk Dabrowski earned the second 'B' cut of his championship run, getting second place in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:32.98. Yesterday, the Wroclaw, Poland, native won the 200 free and earned a 'B' cut after touching the wall first at 1:38.59.
 
The other winner for the Red Wave men was the 800 free relay team of Tate Sloan, Oscar Patten, Ty Gibbs and Dabrowski, topping the podium after posting a time of 6:43.29, defeating Delta State's relay team but an absurd seven seconds. It is the second year in a row HSU has won this event.
 
The top performers on the women's side was Aimee Miller, who got fourth place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.46, only four hundredths of a second away from being awarded a 'B' cut. Ceci Magnani also claimed a Top-5 finish in the 500 free (5:09.68).
 
The Red Wave will swim the final day of the NSISC Championships in Cleveland, Mississippi tomorrow before Nationals begins March 9.
