CLEVELAND, Miss. - Jack Armstrong highlighted day three of the Delta State Christmas Invite for Henderson State as he set a new school record in the 100 yard breaststroke, while also garnering a second-place finish in the 100 butterfly.

The Red Wave men currently sit in second place with 1286.5 points - just 51 points behind Division I Incarnate Word - while the women are in fifth with 654 points.

In the first events of the evening, Isabelle Andrews finished sixth in the 100 fly with a time of 56.86 before Jase Pinckney took top honors on the men's side after touching at 46.50. Finishing 24 hundredths of a second behind Pinckney was Armstrong at 46.74.

Emma Jorgensen saw a fourth-place finish in the 400 IM (4:31.21) as she now owns the four fastest times in the 400 IM in school history. The women found their first win of the afternoon in the 200 free as Kiara Pozvai (1:50.29) as she captured her second individual win of the week before Patryk Dabrowski echoed Pozvai's performance with a 1:38.14, podium-topping finish.

The final individual win of the night came from Armstrong in his record-breaking 100 breast swim, defeating second place by nearly a second and a half, touching the wall first at 53.77. The previous school record was 55.15 set last year by teammate Jaren Tippett and is currently the eighth fastest time in NCAA Division II.

The last event of the night had the Red Wave women get third in the 400 medley relay with a season-best 3:49.87 while the men placed first with a 3:11.14, which is the fourth best time in the country as it stands.

Day four of the DSU Christmas Invitational will get underway this evening from the Ronald G. Mayers Aquatic Center.
