ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Henderson will revisit conference opposition when it heads to Durant, Oklahoma to take on Southeastern Oklahoma State in a three-game weekend series beginning Friday, Mar. 17 at 2 p.m. In the Reddies' last conference action, they won the series over then-No. 9 Southern Arkansas at Clyde Berry Field, two games to one.

REDDIES REPORT
Henderson comes into this weekend off a big week that featured a three-game series victory over then-No. 9 Southern Arkansas and a midweek triumph over Mississippi College, 8-6. The Reddies are now 14-9 overall and 7-5 in conference play, which has them tied for third with three other teams in the league standings.

Kaden Argenbright played his best game of the season against Mississippi College, going 4-for-4 at the plate with one RBI and a run scored. With eight hits in his last three outings, Argenbright is batting .352 for third-best on the team and is second with both 31 hits and 21 RBIs. The Sulphur Springs, Texas, native needs five hits this weekend to move into second all-time with 195 behind current teammate
Greyson Stevens.

Pitchers
Ryan Galvan, who earned the GAC Pitcher of the Week honor after his performance against Southern Arkansas, and
Reese Weaks are a combined 5-0 on the mound for HSU this season. Both arms have reached a team-high 24 strikeouts with opponents hitting .220 against them.

Henderson St. has dominated Southeastern Oklahoma St. in the last several years, having won five in a row and 10 of the last 11 matchups against SE. The Reddies have won the last two series' in Durant, Oklahoma and have not dropped a series to the Savage Storm since 2017. Since the formation of the GAC, that is HSU's only series loss on SE's home field. Â Â Â

SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA ST.
Southeastern is currently 11th in the league standings at 4-8 in conference play, but SE is 3-3 against the GAC when playing at home, including a win over then-No. 2 Southern Arkansas, 4-1. Most recently at Mike Metheny Field, the Savage Storm downed Austin College, 20-5, behind four home runs.

Three of those homers came from sophomore infielder Austin Thorp as he tied a Southeastern school record with three blasts in one game. Thorp has yet to start a game, but has three hits on five at-bats. Damon Burroughs is eighth in the entire conference after hitting .387 through 23 games. As a team, SE is hitting .306 for sixth in the league.

The Savage Storm's pitching is eighth in the conference with a team ERA of 6.56. Cole Canuteson has seen the most work on the bump for Southeastern as he has a 4.60 ERA in 29.1 innings of work. Both he and Conner Priest are leading the staff with 31 strikeouts a piece.
