REDDIES REPORT (28-18, 19-11)
Henderson greatly helped out its GAC standing with a series victory over Oklahoma Baptist this past weekend, sweeping the second day's doubleheader after dropping the first game. The Reddies have now won five consecutive conference series', including four straight when they have lost the initial contest, and are a game clear over Arkansas-Monticello for the coveted fourth spot in the league standings.

Kaden Argenbright (.356) is inching closer to taking the season's batting average title from Luke Rice (.363) thanks to hitting .571 (12-for-21) over HSU's last two series'. Henderson's top bats have started to come around, with Greyson Stevens also having recorded a hit in eight straight games while Argenbright has reached base safely in seven consecutive outings.

In back-to-back weekend appearances, pitcher Andrew Howard has not allowed a single run, claiming the win in the series finale against the Bison after five innings of scoreless work where he allowed just two hits a struck out four batters. In his 12 last innings, the North Little Rock, Arkansas, native has logged 12 strikeouts and given up just three walks, five hits and zero runs.

Henderson has yet to play an in-state non-conference opponent this season. Against teams from the Natural State, HSU is 8-9. The Reddies are 170-247 all-time against DI opponents and are 4-5 against Arkansas State.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS STATE (14-22, 5-11)
The Red Wolves are coming off a series victory against the University of Louisiana Monroe, but prior to that had lost three of their last four games. Arkansas State is 9-11 against non-conference opponents this season while being 11-12 at home overall.
