ARKADELPHIA, Ark.  -  The Henderson State Athletics Department recorded a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for a 16th consecutive semester when the Reddies' 414 student-athletes posted a cumulative 3.12 GPA for the fall 2024 term.

Eleven different Reddie athletic teams had a combined GPA above 3.0. Three programs had a team GPA of 3.5 or higher, including women's tennis (3.69), softball (3.57), and men's golf (3.5).

"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and their commitment to keep our standard of a 3.0 GPA for a 16th consecutive semester," Director of Athletics Seth Dutton said. "As a department, we commend the efforts of our student-athletes as well as the Henderson State coaches, advisors, professors, and staff who support them. They truly define what it means to be a student-athlete. They compete just as hard in the classroom as they do in their respective sport. That is the Reddie standard."

Henderson State Athletics has posted a department GPA of 3.0 or higher in every academic term since the spring of 2017.
