RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - For the second consecutive week and the sixth time for the 2023-24 season,
Allie Bianchi is the Great American Conference Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
Bianchi's sixth conference-wide accolade is the most a GAC female golfer has ever received in a single season, surpassing former Reddie great
Gracen Blount's five Golfer of the Week nods last season.
The now six-time conference Golfer of the Week earned her latest installment of the award with a tied-for-first place finish at the Hardscrabble Invitational in Fort Smith, Ark. Bianchi finished the single-round tournament at 1-over 71, playing her final 15 holes 1-under par after starting off 2-over through the first three holes.
The Lone Star State product has played each of her last four rounds of competitive golf at 1-over par or better. In each of her last three tournaments, Bianchi has placed no worse than third while recording a Top-6 finish in every tournament this semester.
Bianchi will look to cap off her historic season with the year's final regular season tournament in Springfield, Mo. when No. 13 Henderson State competes in the Women's Spring Regional hosted by Arkansas Tech Apr. 8-9.
