NCAA BASEBALL ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICTÂ TEAM
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Following the completion of the 2024 season, Henderson State baseball had five players honored as College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees:
Kaden Argenbright,
Henry Coppens,
Louis Holt,
Kyle Williams and
Payton Byrd.
Eligible players must have a cumulative 3.5 GPA following the spring 2024 semester while also having competed in at least 90 percent of the institution's games for position players. Pitchers such as Coppens, Williams and Byrd must have made at least 17 appearances or 25 innings pitched.
Argenbright, along with being named a unanimous First Team All-GACÂ recipient and an Academic All-District honoree, is recognized as an Academic All-America finalist and advances with his 3.7 cumulative GPA and accolades on the field to the national ballot, voted on by CSC members.
The CSC Academic All-America Team will be announced Tuesday, July 2 at 12 p.m. ET.
