MUSKOGEE, Okla.  -  Reddie Women's Golf took fourth place at the 2024 NSU Women's Golf Classic after posting one of the top three team scores in the final round of the tournament.

As a team, Henderson State shot 12-over 296 - a three-stroke improvement from the first round. Rogers State won the second round and the entire event after putting together a team score of five-over 289 on Tuesday. Arkansas-Fort Smith went six-over 290 to claim second place, while Harding shot 15-over 299 to secure third.

Lily Nelson narrowly missed out on becoming HSU's second straight individual tournament winner after recording a score of six-under 65 in the final round. Though Nelson's Tuesday score was twice as good as any other in the field, Lydia Sitorus' three-under 68 round put her one stroke above the Reddie junior in the overall standings. Rogers State's Sitorus won the event with a final score of four-under 138, putting Nelson in a tie for second place with RSU's Brianna Maddux.

Senior Felisa Sajulga ended the week at No. 11 in the 107-athlete field with a score of three-over 145. Freshman Madolyn Kost improved her first-round score by seven strokes to finish with one of the top 20 individual scores of the tournament's final round.

Next week, the Reddies will travel to Denton, Texas, for the DBU Classic at Robson Ranch Wildhorse Golf Club. The event tees off on Monday, September 16.
