Henderson State Athletics Posts 18th Consecutive Semester with 3.0 GPA

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.  -  The Henderson State Department of Athletics recorded a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for an 18th consecutive semester when the Reddies' 414 student-athletes posted a cumulative 3.09 GPA for the fall 2025 term.

Eleven different programs had a combined GPA above 3.0. Five programs had a team GPA of 3.5 or higher, including women's tennis (3.97), men's golf (3.69), women's basketball (3.60), cross country (3.51), and women's golf (3.50)

Additionally, 167 student-athletes were named to either the Honors List (3.5-3.99 GPA) or the Dean's List (4.0 GPA). This number is 28 more than the previous semester's honor roll student-athletes.

"We are thrilled for our student-athletes and their commitment to keep our standard of a 3.0 GPA for an 18th consecutive semester," Director of Athletics Seth Dutton said. "As a department, we truly appreciate the efforts of our student-athletes as well as the Henderson State coaches, advisors, professors, and staff who support them. They truly define what it means to be a student-athlete. They compete just as hard in the classroom as they do in their respective sport and personify the Reddie standard day in and day out."

Henderson State Athletics has posted a department GPA of 3.0 or higher in every academic term since the spring of 2017.
