CLEVELAND, Miss.  -  Henderson State's Patryk Dabrowski has been named the NSISC Swimmer of the Month for January 2025.

During the Red Wave's Senior Day meet with Montevallo on January 16, Dabrowski closed out a winning race for his team in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. Later in the meet, the Wroclaw, Poland, native won the 50 Yard Freestyle in 21.05 seconds as HSU swept the podium in the event. On January 24, Dabrowski sealed a 400 Yard Medley Relay victory in the final leg of his team's race at Ouachita Baptist. In addition to another first place finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle (21.07 seconds), he was the anchor for a Red Wave win in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay against No. 14 OBU.

Dabrowski was the final leg of Henderson's NCAA Division II National Champion 200 Yard and 400 Yard Freestyle teams in 2024, helping the team set a new DII record in the former event. He is once again in consideration for nationals after earning B-cuts in the 50 Yard Freestyle (20.36 seconds), 100 Yard Freestyle (44.51 seconds), and 200 Yard Freestyle (1:39.78) at the Eagle Invite in November.

Patryk and his teammates will compete in the NSISC Championships next week. Races will take place February 18 through February 22 in Cleveland, Mississippi.
