Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State lost its Day Three matchup in the 2025 HSU Baseball Invitational against Augustana by a score of 25-7 on Saturday.
The Vikings took an early lead by plating five runs in the top of the first and never looked back.
Jeremy Schork went a perfect three-for-three and recorded three RBI in the seven-inning affair. He launched his fifth home run of the calendar week and the young season - a two-run blast to right field - in the bottom of the fourth. Earlier in the game, he got the Reddies on the board with an RBI single.
Luke Rice reached base in all four of his plate appearances. He did so by tallying two hits (including a double), a walk, and a hit-by-pitch. The senior from North Little Rock, Arkansas, scored twice during the game.
Louis Holt posted two hits and a double in his own right. He drove in a run on a single in the second inning.
Hometown kid Tripp Campbell homered for the first time in his collegiate career in the bottom of the third. He had previously scored a run on the aforementioned Holt single and walked two times on the day. The Arkadelphia native also provided the team's only stolen base.
Cal Jones hit a sacrifice fly to record an RBI.
HSU will close out this weekend's tournament with a rematch against Emporia State on Sunday, February 9. First-pitch at Clyde Berry Field is scheduled for 10 a.m.
