CENTRAL REGION RANKINGS - APR. 23

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State was listed as a team "Under Consideration" in the first installment of the 2025 DII Baseball Central Region Rankings on Wednesday evening.

The region rankings are released each week by the Regional Advisory Committees (RAC) and give a depiction of where teams stand in the race to make the NCAA Tournament.

The first iteration of the rankings that was released on Wednesday does not truly rank the teams, but lists 10 teams from the Central Region who are being considered in alphabetical order. The first numerical rankings will be released next Thursday. Eight teams will ultimately be selected for the 2025 Central Regional and will be spilt into two different four-team sub-regionals at host sites. 

The Reddies (27-18, 19-11) remain in the hunt to make the NCAA Tournament after putting together a strong campaign this spring. Henderson has won eight of its 10 GAC weekend series and holds winning records head-to-head against three other GAC opponents listed as "Under Consideration" this week.

Henderson plays its final conference series of the season this weekend when it travels across the street to face off with rival Ouachita Baptist.
