ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State's
Luke Farrar,
Payton Byrd, and

Farrar, a senior from Calhoun, Louisiana, was named First Team second baseman. He hit .320 this season with 16 home runs, 60 RBI, and led the team in at bats, runs scored, hits, doubles, and was second on the roster in stolen bases and slugging percentage and boasted a .975 fielding percentage. He also received First Team All-GAC and All-GAC Defensive team.
In 26 appearances this season, Byrd, a senior from Warren, Arkansas, was second in all of Division 2 with 13 saves. He led the Reddies in ERA, WHIP, strikeouts, and batting average against. Byrd was also named First Team All-GAC as well as NCBWA All-Central Region First Team. He, like Farrar, will advance to the national bracket in hopes of being named a D2CCA All-American.
Schork was a star for the Reddies in his only year with the program. The Second Team selection led Henderson State in OPS, games started, slugging percentage, and RBI.
